Ok, so I have been reading on here about oil catch can's and the PCV system and I just want to make sure I have figured out how to set up my catch can right.

I need to run the tb port and the two ports from the valve covers into the catch can, then port from the catch can into the accordian hose? Is this right?

Also, does is screw up the vaccum if there is a filter on the top of the catch can? Thanks

Pete

That is correct...you want the catch can plumbed in the line between the PCV ports and the accordion hose connection. The primary vac is supplied by the TB 90% of the time...under boost, a weak vac source is supplied by the intake to the turbo. You do not want a filter on the catch can...defeats the vac sources.

I concur, you may want the TB port on the opposite side of the baffling in the catch can (you should have this done, if not, then you're pretty much wasting your time) from the valve cover ports that way the oil vapors are drawn through the baffling and most of it is trapped there.
