Ok.. So after it sold out a total of 7 theatres here for midnight showings and everyone and there mom being psyched to see it... I didn't think it was the best sequal ever... In fact, I have watched the first Pirates numerous times, probably more than 50. I don't see myself sitting down to watch this one again..

Overall I give it a 7 on a 1-10 scale.

Meh, it was just alright in my books.. A little over-animation on "Davey Jones" and his crew.

I just got back from the 9:30 show, and I'll second your rating Disced. First Pirates left me with permagrin, and even though I liked this one it was nowhere near as good as the first.

I definitely agree. Although it was good there were a few things that just made me go "What the heck, that's just stupid or shouldn't/can't happen". First one is definitely a movie I can watch over and over again. They could have done a much better job on this sequel. And the cliff hanger!! Grrrrrrrrr.

IMHO... it's horrible... plot is WAY too complicated, over dramatic, a lot of shit just didn't make sense or fit together, and the ending was horrible

I gave it a 6 out of 10. Good flick, but alot of acting to fill in just for fodder and nothing more.

Not to mention I waited through the 20 minutes of credits to see "bonus" footage. BOOOOOO!

I just found out that the black pearl was in port after the movie came out about a 15 mins away from me up until a week ago.
