Official LED bulb thread

I've taken alot of interest into this lately as I've seen some cool things done by replacing the stock size bulbs with an LED bulb of the same size. I've ordered some new LED bulbs for my cluster in green, can't wait to see how that looks. I've also taken interest in doing this for the rear license plate lights, as well as the turn signals. For those who are interested, here is a chart showing the size of all the bulbs used in our car:

I've been told the refractors/ 5 light wedge bulbs work best

Which ones though, Tanya? I think they're the ones one up from the bottom because they have that socket type base.

The WLED X5 Wedge Base bulbs in 194 or 168 for the instrument clusters

What would you recommend for the license plate lights? They're also 194. Are they socket based or just like a regular light bulb?

i believe there are two smaller ones in the dash that are size 78

That site is great! On your tail lights, did you use the SideWinder bulbs? How much brighter are they than stock? Is the spread even or does it look brighter near the bulbs?

I should have mentioned, the pics I posted weren't of my car, they were posted on cs.com, only thread I knew anything about LEDs.

Seriously, I wish I had LEDs on my car, but haven't been able to afford them yet, so I can't be much help anymore

Tanya, what about the LICENSE PLATE LIGHTS? They're 194's as well, which LED bulbs will fit?

Yeah, they are, and the ones I got don't have a sufficient viewing angle. >_< The oil pressure needle/gauge is barely visible. D:
