I'd like to start off by saying I have done a search through both SM and SF and have only come up with drive line related discussions and mine seems to be affected by engine RPM then speed. I have a 1987 Toyota supra turbo auto and after a very long time have finally got it on the road and I've just been driving it around to no where in particular just becaues I finally can.
Now after a few short hours I've noticed a very harsh vibration high frequency at speed. I will be going from anywhere between 40km/h to 60+km/h partial throttle at about 1500-below2000rpm. To get the vibration to stop I either slow down by braking or give'r until I hit above 2000rpm and the vibration quickly disapears. I streeing wheel doesn't shake like a worn out LCA bushing or anything and happens when driving straight or turning slightly either direction. I will be posting a video if I can capture the problem on video.
