no powersteering!!!

out for a cruise last night and all of a sudden i hear a high pitch squeal and then bye bye power steering. ended up just being the belt breaking :3d_frown: but trying to drive the supra with no power steering was aweful. i can't believe some guys want to remove thier power steering the car drives like a tank without it.

yeah man it's crazy. my last car didn't have it and it wasn't that bad but the supra just sucks without it

i believe it was harder because YOU were forcing the fluid through the system. the guys that remove the power steering, or cars that dont have power steering are much easier because it all mechanical. no pushing the fluid be hand.

working on TOYOTA is never easy I've changed my P/S pump 2 times and still I cant find a decent one. We have a tank here, so P/S is vital lol

the right way to do it would be to remove the PS pump and all related hoses and whatnot. then you would fill the rack with fluid and then cap it off.

think you have to loop the lines, if you just cap it off you'll block the pistons totally...
