How long ago did you get the clutch?
Has it been broken in yet?
You prolly just need even *more* gas before you even start to engage the clutch. (Pushing the pedal = disengaging clutch; Releasing pedal = engaging clutch)
Does the problem with the gas pedal happen at all engine temps? I know mine does that a bit when its cold, it will kinda just not do anything and bog down for a sec or 2 when I hit the gas anything over about ~35%. TBH I'm not sure at all why on that.

Whoa, guys, we have another Supra owner w/ Oil Pressure problems! Big shock! What does your gauge read?

Also, sorry, not to jump on you, but please toss in a few more capitals and periods (not ellipses) so its a easier to read. Thanks :)

Did it do it before you got the clutch?, it sounds more like a vacuum problem.... you're gonna want to fix that oil pressure gauge problem, could be the sender, wiring, the gauge itself, etc.

i've had my 88 turbo for two years and the oil pressure guage has never worked. but mine's not pegged upward. my temp guage did that once. it was just a bare portion of the wire touching a piece of metal causing the needle to read HOT, which scared the hell out of me until i got it figured out.
