Since I blew the engine in the MKIII (and i am taking my time rebuilding it correctly), i decided to get a new daily driver. I picked up a green 5 speed 1997 Lexus SC300 as my daily driver. :evil2:

And it is sitting next to my husband's 2008 IS 350 that we just brought home from the dealership. Cant wait to put the Supra in that picture...:aigo:

how much did the3 SC300 set you back if I may ask...

the 5-speeds are pretty tough to find in my area...

5500....120K on it...1 owner...who had all of the service done at the lexus dealer. :icon_bigg

fiance needs a new car, I was thinking it would be a good car to get her... and when she gets bored of it I can turbo it and steal it...

its defiinitely NOT a mk3, but its in the supra family. its fun to drive, and the clutch on this thing is like silk.

i read a review somewhere of these as a "mk4 in a tux" ... kinda of funny. only thing i am doing to is getting some better rims and going to sand the rear lights so they look all red instead of 3 different lights...

yep, IIRC the coilovers for a MKIV bolt up and the drivetrain is basicly an N/A MKIV...

but without the outragious price
