I live in Southern Maine, and I'm having problems finding a machinest. I have found several shops that have done 7M engines, however I cannot find a shop that can test the hardness of an Aluminum head, much less one with a torque plate. Most people never even heard of a tool to check the hardness. Two non-engine shops had tools to check hardness, both nothing as soft as aluminum

So, my question is, does anyone have a machine shop in the Maine, NH, MA area that they would recommend? Per multiple recomendations, I want to have the head checked for hardness and flatness, and the block checked for integrity before I put any money and time into the engine. Any suggetsions would be greatly appreciated.

BTW, this is not a rush. I'll be fairly busy until August, so that's the timeframe I'm looking at. Thanks.
