New England caravan to Englishtown

This thread is to plan a caravan down to the Englishtown meet on October 16th.

This is a route from CT on down, for anyone that would like to meet up with us.

We will be meeting at the park and ride off Spencer St in Manchester, we will try to leave there by 8am.

From there we will get on 84 to 91 south.

We will be meeting up with more people at long wharf park in New Haven, right off of 95. Exit 46 I believe. We should be there around 8:30am.

If your in south/western CT and want to join up we can work out a time and place to stop along 95.

We can stop there, but right now we're only meeting in manchester and new haven. So far no one from western CT has decided to join up.

We have at least 6 cars in our caravan as of now.

Wasn't there a rendezvous point at a McDonald's at exit 25 or 26 off I-95 last year?
Is the plan to head straight to Etown, or also layover at the other McDonalds in the Bronx as was done previously?
Seems like I'm a go, so just trying to clear up the plans...

Like last Year..... I will be at Mc Donalds on conner street exit 13 off of I95. I will be there by 7AM, and will leave to go to the 1st rest stop past exit 13 on the NJTP at 8 am.. I hope to be at the 1st reest stop past exit 13 on the NJTP by 9am, and will leave by 9:30am to continue to Englishtown. You guys are a little behind leaving at 8:30. Gates open at 10:00am

We're a little hesitant to leave as early this time as we did for the last meet. The meet was canceled long after we left CT, and we didn't know until we got to the racetrack.

The best time to go down 95 is 8 am the latest, Traffic starts to pile up at that time. I'm looking at leaving out of Westfield at 6am. Hope to see some of you on the way.
