Ok so here it is, i am thinking of getting some sort of management system for my car soon, but having trouble deciding on what to get? piggy back(s) or standalone.
I was thinking of the maft, but on that will i need a separate system for more fuel parameter control an safc or something? How much tuning capability does it have? I know it eliminates the afm and "guesses" the air flow, how accurate is that on fuel control?
My second thought was of course AEM ems, from what i have read on their website it has infinite tuning ability, and able to run separate acc. But on this system what will i need to add as far as sensors? I know i can run the stock afm, but how does that work with a vented bov?
Ok now the car and plans to better help with advice.
NOW: 89 7mgte, stock internals, arp studs, mhg soon, stock ct-26, bigger i/c piping with vented bov, stock fuel system.
PLANS: ct-26 60 trim, new fuel pump 255lp, 550's, lex afm or speed density?
GOALS: 400hp plus or minus, weekend warrior, dd 3 days a week at most if at all.
Ok there it is give me all your advice and recommendations you can
