Need help with steering wheel

Has anyone put a MkIV wheel on a MkIII? Probably not, but the only problem I have is with the airbag. I don't want to damage the airbag part of the wheel. But how can I bolt it in if the airbag has to be removed to get the wheel in and out?
Any tips, advice, or anything?

I'm not sure if its the same with an mk4 wheel. But everywheel I've tahen off has to screws coming in from the back that hold the airbag on.


Taking it off to put the wheel on is simple. Take the screws out, remove airbag. Install wheel. You won't hurt the airbag taking it off. They were designed to come off.

Just make sure your battery is disconnected and you unplug the airbag. I hope that helps. I'm not really sure its what you were looking for.
