Need fast advice!

The guy right down the street from me is selling a 90 turbo 5 Speed. Good interior, CLEAN paint, rims, etc. I called him up and he wants $3,500. He wasn't home when I called so I haven't test driven it.

He said:
New motor, runs flawlessly. Replaced due to rod-knock.
No turbo smoke, boosts good

My car:
86.5 5 speed with all options.

What do you guys think I can get for my car? Is this a good purchase? I'm all nervous inside because I have LUSTED after this car since it got painted.

The turbo Supra for sale sounds nice but you should test drive it for yourself.

BHG and feel the suspenison up.

Also check all gears for ease of shifting. R154s are a rough shift compared to a W58 but make sure all syncros are good
