Hi i just bought a 88 MK3 supra turbo 5 speed about 3 months ago it's just bin sitting.i'm new to supras and really falling in love.I Have some thing i wanted to know and see if you guys think i'm doing a good job for only havin a few bucks.I just bought eibach springs and tokico rear struts and i wanted to know should i buy the front tokicos and will it make a big difference.I also have a bit of a valve tap i wanted to know is it hard to adjust the valve?Also my 2nd gear dose not want to go in smooth i heard royal purple gear oil is real good.I know i need to replace my U jonts,brake pads and most wear and tear a 20 year old car.I'm pickin up a spare turbo head for 100$ and a intake manifold that i am gana port and palish in the future.I also am gettin Z32 300zx rims with good tires for 200$And i just bought a blitz bov.here are some pics i'm gana start workin on the car when the car gets up to my shop.

P.S.i also have some body work i need to do i have everything i need witch is the fender,nose panel,bumber,and mirror i was just wondering do you think anything under is bent bad i know it's always worse when you pull stuff apart but just wanted to know from people who have takin that front end off befor.thanks

I fuckin hate all these ass clowns with good cars.It's sad but ture and it all started with that damn movie yea you know the one i'm talkin about.

yea and the panit on it is only 6 months old to bad the guy befor me hit it.O well primer parts for now till i get money to repanit the side that got hit.

well i havent had any time to really work on the supra or the weather would be shit but i got a few hours with it till i had to work on my Dad's friends gay ass pt cruiser gt turbo and than my friend came over and I had to do some plugs and wires on his del sol but any ways i started taking a part the front end and it's not to hard realy i coundent belive that only 2 bolts snaped on me being the cars 20years old.I didn't have enough time to get the fenders or the bumper off but got most of the littel dumb stuff out of the way like the turn signals,wheel well's, ect

What i wanted to know is should i take the bumper off and than the bumper support or should i juet take it off the bumper support becasue the new bumper i have is already on the bumper support and it looks like it will come out EZer if i just take it out from the hold thing.

Also my car is runing like shit it sounds like it wants to die it idle is any were from 600-900 every now and than it go's back to normale but the motor is just acting funny and that valve tap has gottin louder What makes me more madd is theres no check engine light so I don't know whats up I'm going to check out the spark plugs and coil packs because i'm hoping it's somthing dumb like that.

Well it's raining today so the supras just sitting out there cold and wet so i won't be working on it today but he's a few more pic of my car with some of the stuff off it.Sorry more shity camera pics.

also i put my friend 300zx rims in the front becasue i had a flat and i put my 5 spokes in the rear the will be gun metal soon.

p.s.what do you guys call tho's 5 spoke rims is there any kind of nick name that there called???

I got eibach springs and tokico shocks but they are not in the car yet.and the new rims.I guess if you wana call the cone air filter a mod you could but it's just a stock car

check your oil for the dreadded "milkshake"
if you get a dry day,look at your ic hoses underneath to be sure they are in one piece. a broken vacumm hose can cause a host of problems.
