mklll parts and year

I've been looking around at some parts for my supra and most the stuff i see is 1987 and up. I own the 1986.5 supra so would the 1987 parts generally fit my car? Or is there really a difference between the 1986.5 and 1987 model? Also what year/model can start to fit the 1jz and can you fit the 2jz without having to mess with the engine mounts on a mklll?
