*sighs* seems my car doesnt want to be messed with any further, keeps plaging me with problems, this is a simple question, so i think it is,

my car has the engine wire harness that is no longer available...grey plug i think, i have a couple questions i need detailed answers for if i may seek them, :)

#1) what makes the grey plug harness and the yellow pluged harness incompatable? if there going to the same car...with the same engine, with the same sensors...why shouldnt it work?

#2) if in fact the two plugs are so different they cannot be used in place of one another, could i just stick a yellow plug ecu in my grey plugged ecu car and then be able to use the harness????

all the plugs are different for the bod7y harness and ecu. and the pinouts are different too i believe.

yeloow plugs ecu has 4 plugs vs gray plug ecu which only has 3.

its better to match the ecu harness to with the same years as the car.
