mk3 with 5/6mge

I know this is an odd question but I have an 1989 supra with a blown motor.
my friend has a 5/6mge in his cressadia with a bad trans. could I buy this cheap and swap it in he has everything. Or should I buy it and sell it to a mk2 fan?

i wouldnt suggest going with the work. I would just find a 7mge and swap it out.
