Miss fire at 11psi or more

I have been driving my car around at wastegate spring pressure, 11 psi, with zero problems. Since the motor has had plenty of brake in time i decided to start raising the boost. I hook my boost controller up and now my car miss fires at 10-10.5 psi. If i turn the boost controller down to zero and run wastegate pressure the problem goes away. Without a boost controller my car only builds 9 psi in first and it does not miss fire, with the boost controller hooked up it makes 10.5 and miss fires just before redline.

My HKS Knock Amp displays a steady 11.5 to 12.5 AFR as boost increases up to 11 psi and holds during miss fire.
*The boost controller is installed properly*
I have no codes, and it does not throw at CEL when miss firing.
I have checked and replaced my plugs. NGK R BKR7E at 0.28 gap.
I checked the coil packs for cracks, but i have not heat wrapped them because there is no signs of cracks.
I am missing two coil pack connectors so i insulated both terminals to ensure it was not shorting out before the coil pack.
Mixing in 109 octane makes the car miss fire worse than regular premium so that should rule out detonation and make it a spark problem.
I also believe the CPS was replaced when the V pro was installed less than 3000 km ago.

I have also searched through many miss firing threads and tryd a few things that all have had zero help.

The next thing on my list to check was my MAP sensor, however i believe V Pro has its own MAP sensor so I am going to call on that tomorow.

A friend also suggested I check my coil packs. How do i go about metering a coil pack? Do i check the resistance throught it? If so what should it be?

Finaly my car is only running a base map and has never been properly dyno tuned. V Pro is a self learning system, but is it possible the base map "drops off" and cant handle the flow of a T78?

1j Mods list:
T78, 3" hard pipes, crower cams, hks cam gears, HKS DLI ignition, 680 CC injectors, dual pumps, Aeromotive afpr set to 35psi idle 45-50psi under boost, HKS V PRO, plus many many more that should not be relivant.

I hate to post another miss firing thread, but i'm running out of options.

you just look at the coil packs, you don't meter them. i have not seen one set of jdm coil packs are all perfect, so you might as well pickup some clear nailpolish and pull them, and put a few coats on.

i'd do that first, and go from there. coil pack connectors maybe, but i doubt it. they're only $7/each so if you only need 2, might as well change them. i think it's more than just arcing between the wires, but also between the terminals of the coil pack itself which the plastic clip would normally separate.

Is there any way that the boost is spiking with the boost controller hooked up? It sounds like you've checked most of the logical things already.

Is everything grounded properly? Just grasping at straws........sorry.

I would put money on it being the coilpacks cracked. Pick what you want to do, coat the stems in epoxy/shrinkwrap/nail polish, buy new ones from toyota (same as 2jz) or by some good used ones from a 1jz owner or a 2jz owner.

I am going to heat shrink the coil packs today.
Suprahero i think you may be onto something with grounding. I relocated my battery to were the washer fluid reseviour used to be and there wasnt anything great close by for a ground. Maybe i will add some extra ground wires.
I also heat shrinked my coil pack wires past the connector so they are now 100% covered. The reason i dont just put new connector on are my terminals actualy broke in half, and i replaced them but the new terminals do not lock into the coil pack connectors, however they have a much tighter grip on the coil pack. Toyota does not have a part number so i am clueless how to track them down.

I heat shrinked the coil packs, added some grounding straps, returned the cams gears to stock location and my car is running 14.5 psi flawlessy! Not sure which one solved the problem as i did it all before driving the car.
Thanks guys.
