Ok so the car has on going problems (previous posts) but getting those worked out. I have started my teardown figure if i want it to run it needs to be done right and I will KNOW what has been done instead of going off hear say.
Anyways got the intake to start, can see mhg front lip of block and cylinder head side.
My question is i can still see fresh machine markings on block and there are no signs of wear on cams, dont think po put any miles on it since new engine? Head and block are clean and still have fresh paint and was last registered in 05. Can i get away with pulling the head inspecting everything taking measurements and reusing the mhg? I know that cross hatch marks on cylinder walls are a good sign, is there a way for me to tell if the car has even been through break-in yet?
