I have been going over my new 1jzgte Supra and I noticed the map sensor line came off of the manifold from a small round check valve looking screw in fitting. and above it is a normal vacuum fitting.
I've been looking everywhere and cant find out what the screw in fitting is and if the map line is supposed to come off of there.
I assume it's correct the car runs fine.

Thought that's what it was. Saw something saying it's a filter of sorts to keep fuel out of the map line. I remember 80's model gm cars mounted the map sensor lower than the eng and the map line would fill with fuel vapors and then condense back to liquid. I made lots of money diag and fixing those problems. Gotta love GM ( job security)
