Couple questions:
On my LC1, I have the second analog output feeding the ECU. I had been doing some tuning, cross referencing between the WB output and VF. I changed the powersource to the LC1 (fused, and gets power from an empty spot in the driver fuse box). Now the VF readings aren't working (only thing I changed)
I opened the LM programmer, reset the sensor calibration. Made sure that output 2 was a NB output. Opened the live feedback tool, watched the sensor warm-up and come online. Started the car and noticed a 'power interupt' message and then the warm-up procedure started again.... what I am thinking is:
1. power is cut from the fuse panel during starting. by the time the sensor comes back online, the ECU assumes the 02 signal isn't working, goes to default open-loop map.
1a. to make this a little stranger - if the 02 reading dips to 10-10.5 (has happened while making changes) vf will read 1.8-2v and then once the af stableizes back to 14-15, drops to 0v again. This has only happened twice since the rewire. Before the rewire, everything was fine.... my question is why? and if it is defaulting to open loop, then I just shouldn't bother worrying about it....
MAFT question(s) - everything seems to be going good, except for a few little issues.
1. I have a real rich spot right around 2k-2.2k (like 11.5-12afr) if I raise the rpm to 3k it drops to 13.8-14.5. Once at opp temp, idle is 14.5-15. The tps reading at this area (2-2.2k) is ~.7-.73v (.43 closed). MAP (IIRC, have to check my logs) will be 30-40kpa (so this is light throttle). I've tried fooling around with the tps and map settings and the only changes are a decrease in drivability. I'm starting to lean towards a sensor with a flat spot...any ideas or tests?
2. I'm currently running 4.65 (using the 4600 defs that are included with the 4.65 package on FTT). I've double checked the hand-held (reprogramed with 4.65, shows 4.65 at start-up) and yet I still have a screen for PTT (4.80 feature). I was planning on updating to 4.80 when I get home today (as I have a decent 4.65bin to compare against for 4.80) but was wondering if that would have any effect on the above issues? I also noticed in some of the config settings, there would be a descrepency between TP and the hand-held (for F-IN/ F-OUT). Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks-
