lowering and turboing

anyone seen anyone do a bolt-on turbo for a 7m-ge? if so what kind of work would u have to do on the motor for it to withstand the turbo?

also i was looking to lower my mk3 i was wondering if anyone could send me some pics of what there car looks like with what springs they had used

I suspect as much work as Toyota put into the 7mgte. Holy crap, search. There's a bunch of threads asking a question similar to your first, including: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?123120-turbo-on-a-7mge&highlight=turbo. Here's my post in that one:

Do you know how cheap it would've been for Toyota to make the n/a and turbo mkiii's with the only difference being the turbo? With a difference of only 32bhp/68ftlbs? And you want 300? Do it right, do it once.

If you took your 7mge related question to the 7M-GE Engine Technical Discussion section, you would've seen the Non Turbo to Turbo (NA-T) FAQ sticky, where you would've seen this:

i'm going to shed some light on my na-t experience....

1. it is only worth na-t IF you have a low mileage motor (not that JDM crap) and you know its in GREAT condition OR if you just dont care and dont mind blowing the motor.
