Lights went out/don't work

FYI, i did the fog light relay thing. it worked fine for a good while, then all of a sudden, my fog lights dont work anymore.

Fuses checked. wire connections solid. everything else works. no other problems.

I undid the fog light thing and put everything back to normal, but to no avail.

i can't beleive both light bulbs would go out at the same time?! doubt it...

any ideas? i have run out of troubleshooting ideas my self.

no, only b/c i doubt they both burned out at the same time.

i wouldn't put it past the car to pull something like that. make sure to check the simplest of things first. i spent maybe 2 hrs trying to figure out why my car wouldnt start when i just had a bad battery connection. if that isn't stupid, i dunno what is. i never thought that the solution would come so easily.

im not saying that both the lights burned out because of old age, but mabye because a spike killed them.

no. how would i do this? i'm pretty sure it still "clicks" if thats what u mean.

Well, I'd pull it and test it with a multimeter. You can also try throwing the relay with a 9v battery and then test for continuity on the two switched contacts.

Also try testing the four lines to running to it, both while switched on and while off.
