light won't come off

Well i was driving home one day with the heater on and my hazard indicator light came on and now will NOT go off anyone know whats up?!?!

So the hazards are flashing and not turning off? Did you turn them on at all? I've got a hazard switch somewhere around here... I'll check something and post back.

no the hazards are not flashing its the light on the upper left from the check engine light maybe ill find a pic of it or something

AH that sounds right sorry for me being retarrted(DURRR) so it means any light is out in the back or any light (meaning sidemakers)

It is tied to all the rear lights... so rear side markers yes.

BTW - If all the rear lights are fine, check the bulb sockets for signs of corrosion (that can set off the failure module) otherwise the lamp failure module may be faulty.

yea cuz when the light turned on i checked out my rear lights i didnt see anything out but i will check again and btw where would the lamp failure module be located?

Mine trips sometimes becuase of moisture. So i wrapped it in a plastic bag. Works great =]

yea i think i have a leak somewhere back there so i may have to do the same..ill just need to find it first

It will also trip if one of the brake lamps is out so get someone to step on the brake pedal when you check them.
