light knocking/tapping noise

I'm not sure what this is... after i get my engine warmed up theres a tapping/knocking noise that i'm not sure what it is... i can hear the valves tapping w/ engine rpms but it seems like every other there is sometimes a louder noise.. i have no idea what it is... just changed oil, used the same oil.

could always just be your injectors firing.. i know on my bronco mine were really loud, i havn't ever really taken the time to listen to my supra's though

I have a very slight tap in my motor as well. Its just piston noise, not hurting anything in my case, and the average passenger cannot even hear it.

its a actual tapping/knocking noise... like somethings hitting something its hard to explain.. it could be nothing but i'm just paranoid of rod knock..

does it get louder between 2-4k rmp? take a looong screwdriver and pressit to the bare block. then put your ear to the handle.....rev the motor...does it get louder? take the screw driver to different parts of the motor.....see what happens..

it goes away as soon as i give it gas... but its not loud enough to where i can hear it inside the car.
