So I have my LC-1 simulating the NB output for the TCCS. This works - but only sometimes. When I do a cold start (wait for WB to heat up, then start car) VF reads 0 (0.01v) the entire key cycle (5min - 40min, doesn't matter). If I start the car (after its been at op temp), then the TCCS shows a VF reading (ave 2v most of the time) except my WB could be reading from 10.1-15.1. This doesn't make logical sense to me....
I have re-calibrated the o2 sensor (3x) and installed the new firmware. Nothing really changed.
How does this affect the driving? In the morning, when the air is cool (and corrected alt is low) it will run close to stoich most of the time (idle, cruise are usually pretty good).
Afternoon when its warm (low air density, higher corrected alt) in theory it would run richer. Which it does (usually) but VF stays the same...
What this is leading me to believe is the sim o2 from the LC-1 is a failure (my assembly problem, them not talking well together - doesn't really matter at this point). I'm thinking the best route to take here is shut off the NB output and tune the car in open loop (using MPRO) and then let PTT take care of it - because I feel as if I'm fighting the TCCS as changes are reflected on O2, but then gravitate slowly back to where they were....
Thoughts?
