JZA70 pinouts useable?

Just wondering, with the pinouts on the ECU of a JZA70, can some of these signals be tapped and routed to gauges and displays or are these signals eaw and unprocessed at the point it enters the ECU?

For example, taking Pin 4 on harness "W" (THW) Water Temp, what signal is that wire getting to send the ECU the actual water temp? Can this signal be used for digital meters or gauges or is it a proprietary signal for the ECU?

The signals from the sensors to the ECU are composed of some specific electrical requirements that Toyota decided on. For example, the MAP sensor outputs voltages in the 0-5v range which indicate boost and vacuum. If I remember correctly a sub 1v value indicates the level of vacuum and anything above 1v represents a certain psi value up to 5v being the max reading of the MAP sensor.

The wires of the map sensor for example cannot simply be connected to a gauge that isn't specifically designed to respond to that information.

You could conceivably use any of the signals going to the ECU to run gauges etc, but you would need a knowledge of electronics and the ranges of the signal your starting with and the signal the gauge uses to make it work.
