Ok, i was looking at Toyotaxtremeteam's post, where he put JZA70 springs on his pre-89 MA70, and it made the ride height quite a bit lower.

I think I like the height of the JZA70 springs better, they aren't like the monster truck springs that are on the pre-89 MA70's, they are a little lower, but still look stock and much better IMO.

So my question is...Since I can't find any JZA70 Springs for sale...and I know that the ride height was lowered slightly on the 89+ Supra's...do the 89+ MA70 springs have the same ride height as JZA70 springs? Or do I have to get JZA70 springs to achieve the ride height that Toyotaxtremeteam has?

Sorry for the long post everyone!

Here is a pic of his car:

They are different.

The fronts don't sit much lower at all, but the rear's do ALOT. I originally put all 4 in at the same time. But the stance came out weird. The fronts were still kinda high but my rear TTR springs left me with no wheel gap... same as the front H&Rs that I changed to with no wheel gap either.

You put JZA70 Springs on and they were a lot lower in the back?

edit: wait, are you talking about aftermarket springs? because I am talking about the stockers.

Cygnus says that the part numbers are the same for pre-89 and 89+...
To add to that...
That sounds like the 89 "revised suspension" to me. What you must remember is, parts get upgraded, and old ones discontinued. Sometimes a supplier is lost, sometimes a better part is wanted. And the old part number will be directed to the new one.

Reguardless of if Toyota is selling it still...is the 89+ revised suspension any different from the JZA70 suspension? And if so, who has some JZA70 springs? :biglaugh:

I'm talking about the stock ones. Any aftermarket springs wouldn't be JZA or MA specific. My rear springs are STOCK JZA70 springs. :]
