just bought this clutch kit and...

i want a basic kit, wanted it for a r-154 i'm putting in a ge. will it do? it doesn't specify if its for the w-58 manual or r-154

You're using a R-154... it's a different transmission.

NON turbo, most always refers to the 58.

that clutch will not work with the r154.. it's the tranny you are using not the motor that it's going to which determines the clutch you need to use.

I'm using the w58 with my gte right now, so I needed to get a w58 clutch.

(VERY suprised it's holding still at 10psi...)

You bought the clutch kit already. See if you can contact the seller fast enough to get a refund, or a partial refund because there's no way the pressure plate will work on your tranny, the clutch disc should though, but that would be a rip off paying for a full clutch kit to just use the clutch disc.

you'll need a GTE flywheel as well IIRC...
