JDM CSI "vs" USDM CSI and Code 43,51

Basically Im trying to find out if there is any Difference between the 2. Reason is when I go out in the morning and start the car the first time, It starts up but Sputters and the Idle automatically goes from 700 to about 450-500 range (doesnt even raise up and then drop back down like it normally would). Once I get it out on the road and it gets to normal Operating temps and I come to a Light, the RPMs are at where they are suppose to be (750-850). Does this sound like the JDM CSI isnt getting a Signal as Ive heard that the JDM Oil sending units will not work on a USDM engine. Only thing that I didnt use from my original engine build was the CSI, The JDM looked so much cleaner than the one that I had.

Code 43, I plug in the Starter wire for the MK3 harness but I cant get the starter to kick over at all. If I plug in the one from the MK2 harness since this is a 7MGTE MK2 it turns over just fine, Again, Something that wasnt there before the engine build.

Also getting a code 51, I cant seem to get the Idle to Drop when I jump the check Connector so that I can get the Timing set. With the connector Jumped or Un-Jumped, the timing mark doesnt move at all. Didnt have this problem before so wwondering what you all did to fix the problem.

Any help would be greatly Appreciated. Looking forward to Vegas and I dont want to have any Problems before I get there.
