Hello anyone,
I've just gotten through reading a post about the MAP ECU and I was considering getting the S-AFC NEO to replace the MAP ECU but after reading that post I think I just need to find the right people to help me out.
I've been a member here for a long time and I've been struggling with my car for the longest trying to get it on the road. I initially purchased the car with a VPC and had a mechanic tell me that the VPC was bad only to find out the head was cracked, imported a JDM and installed the MAP ECU only to get it tuned by a shop here in Atlanta that really didn't do a good job (in my opinion) the car starts but after that it's just crappy running real rich hesitating when I give it some gas, real sucky.
My motor runs but not good, my vacuum lines are all inter-connected and running about 6 different ways, I don't know where/how to pull another independent source to run to the MAP ECU.
I don't know much about cars I just wanted something reliable I can cruise around in and ended up getting this one from a friend about 4 years ago and cannot get it on the road yet.
Of course if we all had money we won't be seeking help to get what we have running we'd just trash it and buy something that works but no luck with that option for me. I failed inspection of course because of all of my problems so I just get to drive it around my community. Whoop-de-do.
I see that that are quite a few of you here in Georgia and wanted to know anyone's availability, to offer their services or for some assistance, or if you know anyone really close to Douglasville that you can recommend I go to to get this done the correct way so that I can get this baby on the street and finally get to enjoy it.
If there is anything that anyone can do to help out please let me know I'll greatly appreciate it.
