no, dont do it...been discussed many times

the car will be very unstable due to targe models having different pillars and doors etc...etc....just buy a targa if you want one

back in the day when I had my 88 n/a targa... it always felt like it was wanted to foldup when i would hit a dip or bump on the road.:cry: :nono:

I called about getting a sunroof in my 87 n/a hard top. 860/Spoiler sunroof was what they quoted me. American Sunroof out here in Paramount, CA. They are the official installers for that Sunroof manufacturer.:naughty:

Agreed. Hardtops are less common than targas anyway so it'd be a shame to cut one up. At the Portland get together I was the only one with a hardtop Supra. For the 4th gen Supra there is even a hardtop registry site dedicated to the Supra hardtop: http://www.suprahardtopregistry.com
