Yep - it's just you. It's limited to 155 thanks to the ECU in order to pacify the German green lobby. It's easy enough to remove though, i think even BMW will remove it for you if you pay them.

Remember, its a 5 litre V10 engine under the bonnet, so theres plenty of power there - 500bhp in N/A form - thats a LOT of power. Don't forget also, theres the acceleration to consider. And the fact you're driving a BMW, not a Ford :)

Yeah kinda depends on what you want in a car. I personally would not be caught dead in one of those.

Top speed is kinda irrelevant with a car like that. People are buying the promise of performance, not the actual performance. The people who really care about going fast ( with this kind of money ) buy Porsches and Ferraris, and take them to the race track. M6s on the race track are going to be relatively rare.

Look at all the electronics you got...You are mightyer than God with that little turning knob :D And who cares bout the top speed, it's BMW ( though I don't like the new BMW at all..., only 6th maybe).
I once saw a maroon 6th.. now that was mmmmmm :D

Relatively rare is an understatement. And the 155 is a national german agreement that all their cars will be limited to 155mph. Its an easy ecu reprogram to change that. Unlimited top speed is something like 190+. Its a fast car.
