Well I got tired of f/n with my cps to make my car start because of old wiring. So I decided to cut the plugs and re wire it with two plug kits from Autozone. The 4 wire inline plug kit 48035, and kit 48115. The kits are 4 wires in a row with a male, and female insulated receptacles. The wires are brown, yellow, white, and green. So I used the brown as the red wire and the others matched up on the CPS side. The stock harness had red yello blue and black wires. Again brown was red and blue was green, and black was the white wire. All that matters is how you attach them to the CPS origianl wires. Sooooo.....keep the plugs that you cut assembled and match perspective wires to each color. No more having to shake rattle and roll for me to start, and Its not hard wired where I must cut and resplice if the need ever arose for separation. Cost me less than 10.00 and saved me 300-450.00 in a replacement or a bad wire contact problem. Now when my cams come in I can get my New wolf V500 installed with a new wire harness all around!

Good form Bud, I just did the old splice and shrink wrap when I swapped wire harnesses last time. I am sure that I will wish I went your way when pulling it out the next time.
