The only thing there should be with this "mod" is a diagram. Original, and what it will look like afterwards. If you can't figure it out from that, I suggest not doing it.

Randomly cutting "X" coloured wire and hooking it to this and that is just asking for trouble, you need a wiring diagram for your year.

Sorry guys, I'm leaving for my summer abroad in a few days. No time to mess with this right now but I'll work something up when I get back. Doing it Nick's way is simplest or do you want the fog lights interlocked to something besides ignition? I'm assuming you want to retain the auto off function?

I can take my switch apart and take pictures if you guys want to see how I hacked the switch..

No wires were harmed or hacked during the modification.. The auto off function still works (unless I let the turbo timer count down after the door is closed).

I am kind of wondering what the switch was supposed to look like..
