i think i have a boost leak

the car feels ok not as strong as it should than at about 3k wot i get black smoke that smells like gas car stummbles tries to cut off then goes back to running fin under light load i have no codes only thing i can think of is its a boost leak what do yall think

Should be thowing a 34=turbo pressure is abnormal
You jumpered T&E to check right?

I had major boost leaks and no code... build a tester, sounds like boost leak to me.

how do you read the codes from the ecu is there a computer
and where can i get one

you've just got to pressurise the compressor side of the turbo, pvc cap, silicon coupler, and a tire vavle, hook it all up to a compressor and look for leaks.

I dont know about it be under WOT, but usually black smoke means your running rich. That or I read if the cars been sitting for a while, it could just be burning off carbon.
