The funny thing to me is that Toyota has never been a car company that was known for generally making vehicles with good fuel econmy, yet now gas prices are $3+ a gallon suddenly all their commercials are all about fuel economy.

"I want my MPG"....yeah right!

15mpg city here...T78 @ 15psi, 550s, 4.30s. If I didn't have such a heavy foot, it'd be much better. :evil2:

Daily driving is about 18 mpg, with a good mix of highway and city driving, but I can't resist the boost. I got 23 on a road trip last month. That was all bone stock. I'll have to see how my new Apexi intake and full exhaust change things.

I got 26 highway with 4.30s. According to the math it would have been 29 if I had the stock 3.73 (Of course load variables might effect that theoretical figure).

Damn, Jeff. How do you resist the boost temptation? I just can't do it. And you must have that thing tuned perfectly to run upwards of 5 mpg over EPA rating on a nearly 20 year old car.

If it runs well (all of about 5% of mk3's I've seen, lol) I have found numbers like that are easily achieved.

Those city numbers are babying the car, I get around 14-16 if I'm having fun and in the 16-18 range when just normally driving. Highway is pretty consistant around that though. I use cruise control quite a bit, and don't really ever go over 75mph.

I dunno, lol, it runs well I guess. (Also it has intake, downpipe, no cat, but I'm not running much over stock boost).

If you stay out of boost, youll probably get pretty good mpg.

When i started driving my supra, it lived at redline.

Now i get really good mpg shifting at under 3K

I get around 18-20 city and around 25 highway. Boost maybe three or four times per drive or when needed. Otherwise it's not beat on. Been that way since day one. The car is lightly modded with an engine of 34K miles and in perfect tune. It gets a full check up (including 5 gas analysis) twice a year. I also refuse to run anything over a 30 weight.
