Your hanger bearing might be going out, and you may have universal joint giong out. What kind of symptoms are you having to make you think something is breaking?

On mine you can hear and feal it especialy on deceleration. Lots of vibration. You have a carrier bearing which usualy goes out the uni joints and then there is the bonding rubber in the tailshaft that rotts away.

Also another thing to look at might be your transmission mounts, I thought that i had to rebalanced my driveshaft or get a new U joint but All i really needed was another transmission mount for my w58, I had the same symptons tho, a vibration at about 70 - 80 mph and would increase as the speed rise
