How to get front emblem out

I am going to be removing the front bumper, rear bumper, and upper lip from the car to prep it for paint.. I want to take the emblem out so I don't have to mask it off. How is it held into place? Clips, or glued in? Thanks in advance!

I just took mine out yesterday cause I'm sanding my nose too, I'm gonna Shave the emblem though cause somebody drew on mine with black permanent marker -_- also took out the headlight sprayers cause they don't work and to be honest, they're kinda pointless lol it rains here lots.

If you’re interested in keeping your emblem, rubbing alcohol can generally remove permanent marker from smooth surfaces. I’d recommend 91 percent alcohol rather than the 70 percent stuff as it works considerably better for removing permanent marker. This is a little trick I picked up close to 20 years ago to get Sharpie marker off the lexan bodies used on RC cars. In fact, I used this trick to get the masking guide marks I made with a Sharpie off the lexan body on the RC car I use for my avatar.

+1 for this, I shaved the emblem and headlight squirters on the wrecked supra I restore- I thought it looked pretty good.

its a plastic clip on the backside...take nose pieace off 1st than take the emblem off

Thanks for the replies.. My supra doesn't have the squirters so I don't have to worry about that. Luckily my emblem is in Mint condition, There seriously is not a scratch/ ding in the thing! Thats why i want to get it off without damaging it! hehe
