how many thou did your head need machining?

hello,
still kinda new here. owned a supra for a year now but only drove it for a week before the dreaded bhg. I just took the head to the shop and they ended up havin to take 15thou off. just wondering if anyone has me beat or do i offically hold the record for most f&(#ed head? lol

That's a fair amount of material. Did you get the cam saddles checked to make sure you don't have the banana going on with your cams? If you want to retain stock CR, you will need to use a thicker MHG...hopefully you got the block decked to the RA spec for one

Nah, I beat you easy with 0.030"!

I know, my squish is messed up and my timing is off by 1 deg, but it's NA and runs just fine in spite of this. Mid-grade gas for me, though.
