ive done a short search and hasnt really triumpthenth with much...just people saying to shim up the clutch packs to make them tighter...

What ive got is a 89 turbo hardtop, and the stock 3.7LSD packed up so ive repalced it with another 3.7 thats all fine

but ive also aquired a 4.5LSD its out of a mk3 but it has 4stud axels compatred to my turbo having 6, so im guessing it came out of a NA 1gge Supra, what i am wondering is that will i be able to swap the LSD setup from the 4stud diff into the 6stud? so i can have a spare with a higher ratio

The 4stud axels are much smaller than the 6stud, so im just wonderng if anyone has swapped this over?

how do i pull the diff apart? is there a instruction manual or something someware

Thanks for ur help
Nick

My car is a JDM GT limited so it may differ from your guys amercian only versions...it had a G305 transcode and last time i checked and what i can remember its a 3.7..but maybe its a 3.9 as you say

The other diff i got was defantly off a mk3 and has the same size crown wheel etc and i only bench tested it to be around 4.5 so i could be wrong.

TSRM u mean by the online supra manual?

replacing the clutches doesnt look that bad, doesnt look like it would require any adjustment of the r&p.im gona buy clutches and redo mine over the winter most likely.
