How does this car sound?

I called the guy he told me he has about $9k of parts (brand new) ready to be put on the engine (brand new) but it sideswiped a median or something on the right side. He showed me where this pic was on his myspace. It is the only one he has. Engine swap is no prob, I got 2 people I know that do alot of engine swaps.

well it turns out people thought this was a scam!!! I am going to check out the car tomarrow but the stuff it has is (off the top of my head)
Oh and all of this stuff is brand new!!!

1. Greddy twin turbos $1000 each
2. Greddy BOV
3. HKS Dual Exaust
4. HKS Turbo timer

thats all I can remember, but he said $9000 in parts all new

yes its been flagged but I am going to meet up with the guy today, thats why in my last post I said people thought it was a scam!! lol But really I wanna know what is the deal with 300zx's? known issues?

300ZX's are tricky cars to work worth. NO engine space.

But the goods definatly out way the negatives.

The handle VERY well. Last weekend i was one 684 with my friend and we were in his 300zx, and at around 130-150 the car feels unbeilivably smooth.

Although his tranny is starting to go, and so is the clutch, and a lot of other things.

DEFINATLY find out why he getting rid of it though.... people dont jsut spend 9 grand on parts to sell the car.....

Look under the car for frame rust (happening to my friend and getting worse by the day)

they really are nice cars just don't get excited if its a good deal and forget to check everything out. Engine(backside,oil ,ect..),underside,look for places where it might have been in an accedent and been repaired, look for krinkaled metal on the unibody,bring a magnet to test for bodyfiller in the panels a mirror to look in hard to see places and always test drive it.

300zx's are famous for getting rodknock because of the breather design. The breather design splashes oil into the intake when cornoring hard and over time causes a rod nock and other bad things to happen.

Oh and I cannot testdrive it being that the engine needs to be put in the car. the one in the pic threw a rod.
