Travelmaster is looking for an experienced Windows PC Technician in the DFW Airport area to provide on-site maintenance of networked 2000 / XP Windows computer equipment at DFW Airport.
This person should be able to work 10 to 30 hour per week, at DFW Airport, as needed on an on-call basis.
• Many calls must be handled during normal day shift business hours (9am to 5pm).
• Other calls are flexible, and can be done any time (during day or night).
• Occasional weekend calls.
Candidate needs to be available to:
• Receive phone calls from Travelmaster’s Network Maintenance Manager during normal business hours (9am to 5pm CST); or, if not available, return a phone call from Travelmaster within 2 hours.
• go to DFW Airport, generally, within 8 hours of notice, but within no more than 24 hours of notice; (Travelmaster will reimburse for parking).
• call Travelmaster (using your cell phone) while troubleshooting computers at DFW Airport. (Travelmaster will reimburse cell time at reasonable rate).
Responsibilities include:
• being dispatched by Travelmaster’s Network Maintenance Manager to troubleshoot Windows 2000 and XP PCs;
• Scheduled “walk-through’s” to verify that PCs are running properly;
• Scheduled Cleaning: dust accumulated by fans; Windex screens;
Qualified candidates will have High School or equivalent diploma (2 year tech degree preferred), Minimum 2 years experience supporting networked Windows PCs. This position requires a strong knowledge of Windows XP PCs.
A+ certification a plus; Knowledge of routers a plus; Knowledge of imaging systems with Norton Ghost a plus;
