Regardless if it's JDM or USDM (since early blocks have the same exact pipe) you're not going to get the new one on with the motor in the car...

Actually the one I have is just a straight pipe without the one running behind the head, its a 89 jdm, and my 89 na has the normal pipe that goes behind the engine. Ill get some pics of both when I get home, not sure why its different but its not like any of the 5 mk3 supras I have owned.

No dont reuse the gasket ever, but you should read up on what is going to need to be done, there is plenty of info in this site about doing head gaskets.

Do it right or do it again.

Oh it had a leek on one of the hard lines and needed to be changed so I pick up one from the junk yard. All I have left is take off the head and put the new pipe on the block. but I don't have money for a new gasket so im going to have to wait till I get paid.
