Hey all, this is my first time hooking up a electronic boost gauge and cannot figure it out, eg. where to get power supply and which of the provided wires to use!

They are the wires I was provided by prosport to use to hook it up and cannot figure it out. Any help with diagrams would be greatly appreciated, because I have no clue what the hell is going on apart from hooking up the sensor.

PS: I am sorry for the stupidness but it is shitting me to tears, the instructions they gave have absolutely nothing to do with the power connections on them.

you could hook the power source in many different places. just make sure that you don't have any wires left exposed when you're finished.

you could splice it into your dimmer switch, cig lighter power, or anything else....

I wish I could help you, but I'm not familiar with your setup. you should talk to prosport, I'm sure they can help you out. I may be able to help you figure out where to get power from, but i don't know anything about that particular harness.

What in the MKIII is a 12v constant power source and what is a ignition power source, would the headlights be an ignition power source?

Ign. power source is is 12 volts supplied only when the key is in the ON position.
Constant power source would be powered reguardless of key position.

ahh okay, so what is that last cord with two 4point plugs on either end used for then?

I think that is supposed to go to the warning light you have to buy extra(Step3). You should have all the neccessary wiring to hook up your guage. In step 1 it shows that you connect the power supply to either one. So when you find your power source and plug this harness in your gauge should light up. And if you got your Vacuum/Boost sensor hooked up correctly you should show a vacuum on your guage at idle.
P.S. I used a fuse under the kick panel on the driver side. Your power source harness doesn't really look long enough to me but you could give it a try.
