Well I know abotu air flow on the V8 sights, BUT im wondering about the supra NOT the V8. SINCE the V8 HAS BIGGER EXAUHST PORTS THAN INLETS, it will on provide more ariflow. If you haven't notice the 7m has a revision damn built in (should be a clue in to assholes that i've done some research), i.e. intake is bigger than the outlet. What I want is proof, not hearsay (there's a difference) of what will happen or around about what will happen on the 7m head not a Chevy small block.

Forcedtorque, you rock:bigthumb:

and one more thing. if your going to port the thing you should also look into a 3 angle valve job. i suggest it because it will improve your low lift flow and i dont think your going to be running cams with radicaly high lift. it will complement a port nicley with stock cams.

If I am correct i beleive that the dams help with creating a suction out of the head and with out them the exhaust has a harder time exiting, thus creating more backpressure and more lag on spoolup....There job was to create a more balanced exodus of the gases before the turbo to even out the pulses and create more draw on the non turboes...Hopefully this will clarify the answers you have recieved so far.......

What is Flow Port-Matching?
Flow Port-Matching is the process in which each port is flowed and
matched to the highest flowing port. During this process, each port is
flowed and the head removed from the flow bench and reworked with the
grinder, then flow tested again. The head is taken on and off the flow
bench and ported more, numerous times, until the desired CFM is
reached for that port. Then the next port undergoes the same process.

Since I don't know jack shit.....

http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=276&highlight=port+polish+dyno+numbers

This is the type of solid info im looking for....
Example: porting the 7m head (exhaust side specifically)
Benefits: mild porting
Caveats: loss of torque

check this out, you know, since I don't search.....
http://search.netscape.com/ns/boomf...ww.honda-performance.com/services-porting.asp

I was also looking for dyno numbers on a ported head vs. non so that I could compare and contrast the dyno graphs.

I've read the SM posts and alot of those are old, there maybe new info out there so why not ask.

I should apologize though for not being more specific...so I apologize.
