online dictionary..... search port... search polish, once you know the definitions, if you still cant figure out the benifits for yourself, have someone else work on your car
Well I know abotu air flow on the V8 sights, BUT im wondering about the supra NOT the V8. SINCE the V8 HAS BIGGER EXAUHST PORTS THAN INLETS, it will on provide more ariflow. If you haven't notice the 7m has a revision damn built in (should be a clue in to assholes that i've done some research), i.e. intake is bigger than the outlet. What I want is proof, not hearsay (there's a difference) of what will happen or around about what will happen on the 7m head not a Chevy small block.

flow better. port match. flow easier = free's up some power. better mid rang and top end. you can feel the difference yes

What is Flow Port-Matching?
Flow Port-Matching is the process in which each port is flowed and
matched to the highest flowing port. During this process, each port is
flowed and the head removed from the flow bench and reworked with the
grinder, then flow tested again. The head is taken on and off the flow
bench and ported more, numerous times, until the desired CFM is
reached for that port. Then the next port undergoes the same process.

Example: porting the 7m head (exhaust side specifically)
Benefits: mild porting
Caveats: loss of torque
