harness question

hey guys i just picked up a 88t. a project car i knew the car was not in the most pristine shape but today when i looked under the front wheel well i noticed that the dashboard harness (i think) was severely torn up by the wheel.the people who had the car before cut the springs and i guess the didnt care much for functionality. but i was wondering if i can take the harness of an 89-92t? would there be any major differences.would it be a better idea to splice the existing harness and join them back? thanks

better to get an 87-88 harness if you ask me.
