Hard start to no start....

Ok so the car has been driving fine for the last 3 years but yesterday I took it on a long journey down to california. Well, it ran great for 2/3 of the way down, but on the last leg of the trip it was getting progressively more difficult to get the engine running again. The starter turns just fine, it just won't fire.

So today I did some diagnosing and it appears like there is no fuel coming to the engine. But the funny thing is that my SAFCII now doesn't power on anymore either and yesterday it worked fine.

Well last resort, I figured I jump the diagnostic box B+ and FP, but that didn't work either. So I tried to jump for codes, that didn't work either. The engine check light wasn't powering on.

Don't really know what is going on, but possibly maybe the ECU is fried?

If it got harder to start but started at some point, it isn't an ECU problem. And it very rarely is. Unless you do something to it.

FP to B+ is a problem. That goes straight to the pump. Which will act exactly how you are describing. Does it restart after sitting a while and cooling off?

If you had a working pump with FP shorted, I would have said look at your circuit opening relay.

I don't have SAFC, but since that trims airflow, I don't know why it would matter. The piggyback section is where you need to be for that. Is the fuel system really wired into it?
