guage location question

whats everbody doing with their aftermarket guages i have a 2 place pillar guage set and just bought a wide band and then started thinking about where i was gonna put it without it looking out of place or terrible. does anybody sell different mounts made for our supras besides the piller guages

many people have done it but make sure you dont make the mistake i did, get the shallow gauges not the deep ones.

This would probably do better in General or GTE Tech. The GTE guys generally have more gauges than the N/A guys. The only ones I could think to add to a N/A would be A/F and Oil Temp.

ya i would have but i wasnt paying attention and didnt realize what part of the forum i was in when i started the thread sorry

That's fine. Since you asked: If i had a boost gauge in my car I'd put it in the glove box... would do me just as much good there as anywhere else on a N/A. :naughty:

I hate to say it and I'm sure you already know it, but have you tried a search? There have been TONS of threads on this very topic in the past.

i did try to search i dont know if i was searching wrong key terms or what cause i didnt find anything else on this

I mounted my A/F gauge in the lighter socket, popped the lighter out, then used a Dremel with a cut off wheel to open up the socket to fit the gauge. Looks almost stock IMO, plus you have a convenient ignition switched +12v line (the one the lighter no longer uses) right there for the gauge.
