Hey everyone, I had a specific question about a gt35r. I doubt many mkIII owners run them, but I’m interested in buying one with a t4 exhaust flange (yes 935motorsports.com makes them with t4 exhaust housings). I saw an evo8 with a Garrett gt35r pull at torque freaks, and it put down 498 awhp. I realize it had a t3 exhaust housing, and not a t4 like I have. But for arguments sake, lets pretend that his t3 housing and the t4 housing (.82) that I would be putting on are the exact same. He was running a safc, I have a map-ecu, and lets pretend that both our exhaust and intake combinations were equally efficient. He was using a tubular manifold, and that is what I have. My question is, with everything equal, will my larger displacement 7mgte put out more horsepower than his cammed 4g63. I realize that the evo8 4g63 is a lot more technologically advanced than the 7mgte, but could my motor compete do to the larger displacement?

Flow approx 63lbs of air, max boost of 34psi. If pushed hard enough, I would think you could make the upper 400's, low 500's with it.

This is a 60-1 compressor map. The 60-1 wheel with a p trim turbine has been known to make the 500hp mark.

i have to add, for the people wanting a 60-1, this is the upgrade you want, as it is actually quite reliable. Actually compared to a normal 60-1 with just an upgraded compressor wheel, the p trim is the cat's meow.

/off topic, but the 60-1 wheel has a problem with surging in a ct26 housing. Thus the failures.

7m's love p trim turbines.

7m's also love the F1 style turbines used on the gt35r. Its a modified stg 5.
