Ive owned her for about 3 weeks now and Last night was the first real time I launched hard and spun the tires.. LOL holy Fuck guys!! this thing is stock and 20 yrs old and I couldnt take the grin off my face. I was tempted to let go of the wheel and stand up out the targa and scream! I was turning left onto a street, brought it up to about 3500-4 grand and just droped it, I was surprised at the hookup she got, just a light tire squeal! but then once i started moving I could feel my ass end fishtailing onto the street and the turbo spooling, and the wind blowing in my hair. Fuck I love this car!

Hehe yea I remember when I got mine. Same feeling of those both listed above in the 1st week. 150mph screaming down the empty Interstate at 4am. My Supra is smooth as silk at 150mph could just let go off the wheel. I spanked a modified 93 stang gt and 98 gt in the first week. Wait until you get a boost controller, exhaust and intake. 3 mods I recommend for a stock Supra, with an engine in excellent working order. Good luck with her man, enjoy it!
I would re-toruqe the head bolts to atleast 72 ft. lbs. and perform a compression check before anything. That's what I did when I got mine. I run 12-13 PSI at the moment. My engine is 123k original miles, original HG. Not saying to run 12-13PSI in yours off the bat I have a lot of supporting mods. Intake and Exhaust will raise your boost a tad bit.
